We are currently under sail at about 5 knots off Cassis. I have fond memories of Cassis having visited in 1991. We can see 2 light houses of the port side. We have passed a number of large ships in the night.
There is still some debate on where we are heading. We are concerned about an easterly wind that could be approaching that will make headway under sail difficult, so I guess we will push on as far as we can we these favourable conditions.

This has been a good first night at sea. The conditions are flat and sailing is comfortable.
It is now 09.15am. The sea has turned quite choppy and we are taking on a bit of spray. Still making good headway.
Just had a good sleep and am going to make some coffee.
The coffee was great, reception on 3G seems to be up so let me try a post.
